  1. Action from Saturday night, Feb. 25th at Allstate Arena. Iowa's Kurtis Gabriel & Chicago's Vince Dunn finish their business on the way to their respective rooms. Backgrounder on NESN.com ...
  2. Milwaukee defeated the Iowa Wild 2-0 tonight. The Admirals are the first team to win 30 games in the Western Conference this season! The Ads came into the game with a .663 winning percentage, good enough for third place behind Ontario at .667 and Rockford at .670. The Wild are in 14th place in the Western Conference, but they always play their best against Milwaukee regardless of records. Milwaukee had 14K fans officially tonight. The weather was bad. I think that about 11 or 12K were actually present.
  3. In case you haven't heard the news in Des Moines, Kliendorst let go by Iowa after 2-10 start. He gave an interview to Minneapolis Star Tribune Wild beat writer Michael Russo. To say the least, he's calling out the players as his parting shot. http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/282255451.html#BRZ0KxtAUWVtkEFw.01 Personally I can't say his assessment is wrong. This is not a good team and the effort just isn't there. Obviously he has some responsibility for his inability to improve the situation, but I don't mind his criticism of the players one bit.
  4. From theahl.com (Yes, the main reason I posted this was just so I could tag Iowa...otherwise there wouldn't be much chance for me to do that this season)
