It may be early, but I was wondering about this just the other day, so thanks.

So was Brad Larsen on an AHL deal like Rank and Wanvig...it seems like Dineen likes Rank, and I do as well, however it also looks like Dineen will be moving on next season. I would like to see Larsen back, I like what he brings. I actually like all the veterans this year, except for Dipenta.

We could assume that Ennis and Gerbe will both be gone.

Assuming Jacob Lagace enters the mix, defensemen Jordon Southorn and Alex Biega. I would like to see Generous back as well.

I bet JP gets a good offer to be a starter for another AHL team.

We definitely have some holes to fill next season.

I forgot to put Larsen in the list.... I did this at 3am so it was an oversight.

As for future players, the Sabres do have some options for players in the junior/ncaa ranks, but the Sabres also have a history of walking away from them too.

Alex Biega might be one of those players... I'm not sure he's in the Sabres future plans.

Why is Ennis listed?

Isn't he pretty much guaranteed to be on the Sabres roster?

Man, I hope so. Lots of people in Buffalo would be very disappointed to see him back in Portland.

I used everybody who played more than half of their games in Portland. As time goes on and as we move into camp it will be adjusted.

Can I make a suggestion to the list above WC?

It looks a little confusing the way it is now. Just becuase, you state that players are resigned with Buffalo, like Whitmore. I understand what you mean, but it comes off as Whitmore is in Buffalo and not Portland. I would also put asteriks next to Gerbe, Ennis, Gragnani, and Weber, just because they could easily spend most the year in Buffalo.

Just a suggestion.

If I was Mike Weber, or any dman making under 62.5k, I would feel pretty shitty about my life. Mainly because you make less than Dennis Persson.

It's AHL dollars so I'm not sure Weber is worried about it because he'll be in Buffalo this season.... Unless he blows it, at which point, he might not be back in Portland, but traded.
