Della Rovere traded to St. Louis:

Della Rovere Traded

"Capitals acquire tough guy King from Blues for prospect"

July 28, 2010
CBSSports.com wire reports

ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Washington Capitals have acquired enforcer D.J. King from the St. Louis Blues for prospect Stefan Della Rovere.

The deal was announced Wednesday.

King, a left winger, has spent four seasons with the Blues but has played in only 13 games over the last two seasons because of injuries. He dislocated his shoulder in the 2008-09 opener, and managed only 12 games last season due to a broken finger.

King has amassed 185 penalty minutes along with four goals and five assists over 101 NHL games.

Della Rovere, a left winger, was a seventh-round draft pick by the Capitals in 2008.

I know Kane can play and has been various levels of critical in the current winning ways...but there's just something about the guy I can't stand.

Is that wrong? I don't know what it is, nor do I attempt to claim that this loathing is rational in any way. I just don't like him.

All Kane does is WIN

Could it be because he spent so much time playing for Philly? dontknow.gif

Bialowas played for Philly, and he almost had a statue built for him, he was so popular here.

Bonvie played for Philly & Wilkes-Barre, ane we held a retirement party for him.

Don't try to attach any logical thought to how we feel about players.

I still can't believe that Bialowas was well received in Hershey.
(I still can't stand him.)

My response has nothing to do with how y'all feel about players...it has solely to do with how Skippy feels about Philly.

It has nothing to do with anything. I just look at the guy's face and don't like him.

I can't be the only one who's ever felt this completely illogical way about another human being.

I can't stand looking at Jay Leno, but I can't say that I just don't like the guy.

I treat everybody the same, an apparent peculiarity folks point out from time to time. Folks have to do something or not do something for me to not like them.

But I am sure you are not the only one.
