As soon as I said that Regier was turning his attention to the Pirates and HERE WE GO!!!!

Sabres signed forward Dennis McCauley. Spent last year in Worcester.

He's a former teammate of Tim Kennedy, Travis Turnbull and Chris Butler with Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL

Nice signing for Portland. 3rd/4th line winger with size, toughness and a little bit of a scoring touch. He is a very strong skater for a big guy. Enjoyed his play in worcester last year.

I was going to say, the name sounds familiar. And like you said dmband, he put up a decent amount of goals in 40 games for a big guy. He can fight for sure, I remember he had a fight vs. Dipenta I believe and smoked him.

If I remember correctly, he had a hat trick. But twice this year he sealed games by scoring an empty netter. Worcester won the d zone faceoff and iced it and he beat the opposition dman to the puck knocking it in one handed. Two of the more memorable plays of the year.

And I remember him showing the ability to act as an enforcer or a protector, which would serve a team like the Pirates very well...

If there is a Kyle Rank out there, Regier knows how to find them!

Gives it his all, fan favorite, 3rd liner at best.
